It was 4 years ago this month, but I’ll never forget it. The day my dad came home after leaving me my brother and sister home with our grandparents. We had a baby sister! I had never imagined having ANOTHER sibling in the house, and to be honest I was very unhappy about it at the time. Today, I can’t imagine life without her. She can make anybody in our house smile no matter what kind of day we’ve had. She’s always running around and playing. Her only worry is what she’s going to play with next, unlike the worries of the rest of us. My other siblings and I are very close in age so I didn’t actually get to watch them grow up because I was growing up with them. It’s amazing to watch and think that I acted and grew in a similar way. She’s a lot of work and has so much energy the rest of us can barely keep up with her, but I know none of us would ever trade her for anything in the world.

Great post. Like xoathleteox, I am also the baby in my family, so I think I would also have a hard time adjusting to something like that. I’ve always wanted a younger sibling though. I think it would be fun to play with them and look after them.Tell your sister I said happy birthday!

AHHHHH! That is really sweet! Happy Belated Birthday Little Si. I have a young brother and his birthday is coming up soon. YOu must love your sister. I was also shocked to have another sibling in the house. (An annoying one at that). I love playing with my brother and you with your sister. Happy B-Day to Her.
