Well, not quite. A miracle is an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause. So, techinically it doesn’t REALLY perform miracles, but it did help me out a lot today. In Figure Skating you have a short and a long program and different music for each one. I had both of those programs finished until I watched Sasha Cohens 2002 Olympic short program skate and decided, I want to skate to that music (you would have to be a figure skater to see what’s so great about the music). Unfortunatly, since my parents just paid for my last short program music to be cut and saw nothing wrong with the current music they refused to pay to get a new piece of music cut, and I am basically…broke so I’d be $-40 (using integers in my social studies blog, never thought that would happen)! So, I had to cut this music myself and I had absolutely no clue how in the world I was going to do this. I was looking through my programs getting ready to open iTunes when I  saw it…Audacity right there on the top of the list. I fiddled around with it for a couple of minutes and then started to get to work. Two and a half hours later I had a finished product! Audacity is a really great tool to have I suggest downloading it and playing around with it, it comes in handy! So in the end, I’d like to give a special thanks to my social studies teacher who assigned us that seemingly impossible task of making a podcast of the Constitution becuase without it I’d still be roaming the internet in search of how to cut my brand new short program music.

Now how many other skaters do you know that are in the need of the same thing….if someone hears yours, you might want to mention that you could do theirs. Start off at $20 instead of $40….you are now getting some income to pay for that rink time.

Wow! I never thought that I would see a integer from math in your blog either! LOL! I heart your blog!!!

That is awesome. Glad to see that you are using things from my class in other areas. By the way, what a great business to start up. Shaggyhill is correct. It could cut the costs of your rink time down a lot. I would love to hear what you came up with…maybe even see you skate. Good luck with the new tunes.
